Facilities

Totally Sound has a wide range of facilities on offer at South Bridge Resource Centre. One major benefit we have is the use of lots of space in the building which enables performers and bands to have their own areas to rehearse and practise. In total we have the use of around fifteen different rooms most of which are full size classrooms so are designed to accommodate large groups at a time.

We provide students with a wide range of equipment to use including guitars, bass guitars, keyboards, amplifiers, drumkits, digital recording consoles and advice and encouragement is always on hand from our team of professional tutors.

We also have a dedicated recording studio which is fully equipped with an Apple Mac and an automated mixing desk to provide professional quality recording and mixing facilities for the students. The tutors encourage the less experienced students to take part in recording projects and often end up as backing musicians. As with all of the facilities at totally sound the emphasis is on inclusion and access for students.

The students are able to book rehearsal time in our live practies rooms.  These are all equipped with a PA system, a drumkit, a bass guitar amplifier, an electric guitar amplifier, microphones, stands as well as a selection of other miscellaneous bits and pieces a band might require!
